| After graduating from Indiana University School of Optometry in 2004, Dr. Pastryk began her optometric career in Indiana.
She graduated with high honors and received the Feinbloom Award for Excellence in Clinical Low Vision. Dr. Pastryk was a member of Beta Sigma Kappa Optometric Honor Society. She received the Jack Bennett Humanitarian Award, the Walman Optical Honor Scholarship, and the Varilux Award for Clinical Excellence.
Dr. Pastryk participated in a medical mission trip to Managua Nicaragua to provide eye exams and glasses to the needy population. She also worked in Honduras on a mission with the Fellowship of Christian Optometrists, and went on several mission trips with Volunteer Optometrists Serving Humanity (VOSH) to Guanajuato, Mexico to bring eye health care to the poor.
Dr. Pastryk specializes in primary eye care with an emphasis on geriatric care and ocular disease. She recently moved to the La Crosse area and is excited to join Family Vision Center.
